Not at all. While the 100% cotton denim has an authentic structure that holds the dress's shape, it is woven from long-staple cotton fibres that are pre-washed for softness. This ensures the fabric feels pliable and comfortable against your skin from the very first wear, allowing you to walk, sit, and explore without feeling restricted.
How does the belt fastening work, and can I swap it out for my own leather belt?
The dress features discreet, reinforced belt loops and comes with a matching denim fabric tie belt that allows you to cinch your waist as closely or loosely as you like. Because the loops are standard size, you can easily slide the denim tie out and swap it for a tan or dark brown leather belt to add an extra layer of preppy contrast to your outfit.
Will the rich indigo denim bleed colour onto my white trainers or light-coloured bags?
There may be a slight transfer of colour when the dress is brand new. We highly recommend washing the dress inside out on a cool, separate cycle before your first wear to lock in the dye. Once washed, the colour will stabilise, developing a unique, lived-in character over time.

Our policy lasts 16 days. If 16 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
